The Wedding of 

Our story first began in 7th grade Texas History class where we sat next to each other. From the very first day, we quickly became good friends who often got in trouble for talking too much. It seemed like even our teacher knew something was budding, because no matter how often the seating chart changed, we always seemed to end up near each other.One day, Victoria proudly set her brand-new running shoes on the desk, and Scotty immediately called it gross. Naturally, she made him smell them. To this day, Victoria swears that was the exact moment Scotty fell in love.From there, our friendship grew into one filled with laughter, inside jokes, and plenty of playful banter. On the last day of school before heading into 8th grade, Scotty finally worked up the courage to ask for Victoria’s number, and countless texts followed. Our conversations mostly consisted of making fun of each other and calling one another “loser,” which was our way of flirting. For years we stayed best friends, always wondering if it could ever turn into something more.That “something more” finally came during our senior year of high school. On one of our many late-night drives, Scotty finally said, “I can’t just be friends with you anymore. I really like you.” Shocked but secretly thrilled, Victoria didn’t know what to say. She dropped him off at home, went straight to her mom, and was asked just one question: “How would you feel if he went on a date with someone else?” The answer was clear. On October 28, 2018, we officially began dating, and we’ve been together ever since.From high school days to long-distance college years, soccer games, Oklahoma State game days, and now careers in the same city, we’ve shared and grown through every stage of life together. Today, some of our favorite moments are the simple ones: going to church, driving around, cheering on our teams, spending time with family and friends, hitting golf balls at the range, and walking Kobe. We’ve learned to love each other’s passions, and most importantly, we’ve grown not only in our love for each other but also in our faith in the Lord.On June 20th, Scotty planned the sweetest surprise proposal right on the dock where we will begin our wedding celebrations. Victoria thought they were going to a nice family dinner, but instead, she was led to a dock covered in rose petals and candles. It was the easiest and quickest “yes” she has ever said.Now we cannot wait to begin the next chapter as husband and wife, surrounded by our loved ones in McCall, and start this new journey together with all of our favorite people.

We are so excited to celebrate with all of you in one of our very favorite places, McCall, Idaho! We know it’s not the easiest place to get to, but we promise it’s worth the trip. To help make things as smooth as possible, we’ve outlined some hotel options below, along with a few different travel suggestions. The Evergreen Hotel offers a cozy and convenient stay right in the heart of McCall, close to the lake, shops, and restaurants. Best of all, it’s only about a 5-minute drive from Whitetail Club, so you’ll be just a short trip away from all the wedding celebrations!

Shore Lodge sits right on the edge of Payette Lake and is one of our favorite spots in McCall. It’s cozy, beautiful, and full of charm, perfect for a weekend getaway. We’ll be spending most of our time here throughout the wedding weekend, so if you’re looking for a place to stay or just want to swing by and hang out, this is the spot! Room blocks are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Give the hotel a call and mention the Altieri/Garcia wedding, and they will provide you with all of the room information.

Hotel McCall is a charming boutique hotel located right in the heart of downtown, just steps from Payette Lake, shops, and restaurants. With its cozy atmosphere and central location, it’s only a short 5-minute drive to Whitetail Club, making it a convenient and welcoming place to stay for the wedding.

McCall has many great Airbnb and vacation-rental homes that are perfect for larger groups. These properties often offer multiple bedrooms, full kitchens, big living/dining spaces, and sometimes private outdoor areas. We recommend booking early and confirming proximity to Whitetail Club so you can balance convenience and cost.

Whether you’re in the mood to relax by the water, explore local shops, sip a local beer, or head out on a hike, there’s something here for everyone. Mile High Marina is a must-visit while you're in McCall! It’s a classic lakefront spot where you can grab a drink, rent a boat, enjoy the view, and soak up the summer vibes. You can also pick up some great merch. We especially love their hats and sweatshirts.

Tee off with a view! McCall Golf Club features 27 holes framed by mountains and evergreens. It’s the perfect spot to soak up the scenery, whether you’re playing a serious round or just cruising the course with friends.

We’ll be staying at Shore Lodge for the weekend, and it’s one of our favorite spots in McCall! Located right on the lake, it’s a beautiful place to grab a drink, enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants, or just relax and take in the view. If you’re nearby, come say hi—we’d love to see you!

If you’re looking for a great spot in town for beers and casual food, Salmon River Brewery is a favorite. With indoor and outdoor seating, a rotating selection of local brews, and a relaxed, fun vibe, it’s perfect for hanging out with friends. Don’t miss the bocce ball court out back!

The McCall Farmers Market is such a fun way to spend a morning or early afternoon! Located right in town, it features local produce, handmade goods, flowers, and delicious treats. It’s the perfect place to stroll, snack, and shop while soaking in that small-town charm. If you’re in town mid-week or Saturday, be sure to check it out! Wednesdays and Saturdays 10am-1pm

Just a short drive (or bike ride) from town, Ponderosa offers peaceful trails through the pines and incredible lake views. Great for all levels!

Attire: Western Chic

Join us in bringing a touch of Texas to Idaho for a fun lakeside celebration. Western-inspired attire is encouraged, and cowboy boots and hats are welcome but not required.

Attire: Black Tie Optional

We encourage men to wear their favorite suit or tuxedo. Women are invited to wear their favorite long dress or gown. Summer colors are welcome and encouraged. As much of the evening will take place on grass, we recommend block heels, wedges, or thicker heels for comfort.
